scalable IT solutions.
Coursera
is now looking for a motivated IT Support Specialist who can help provide a
stable, high-performing technical environment for their staff. This internal
support role demands strong attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, and
a proactive approach to solving IT issues. Responsibilities include handling IT
tickets, SaaS administration, asset management, onboarding/offboarding,
hardware deployment, A/V support for internal meetings, and participation in IT
improvement projects.
Roles and
Responsibilities
This
role offers an opportunity to strengthen your IT expertise by providing
first-level support to Coursera employees and identifying your potential IT
career direction—ranging from basic IT fundamentals to server support,
application troubleshooting, and other technology domains.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Provide Global IT Support for 1500+ systems (95% Mac, 5% Windows & VDI). Handle end-user support queries, software-hardware issues, and network troubleshooting.
- Perform day-to-day IT activities such as documenting tickets, prioritizing requests, routing issues, scheduling support tasks, hardware troubleshooting, A/V support, and resolving internal IT requests.
- Conduct New Hire training sessions, introducing them to company platforms, tools, and systems.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and collaborate with Systems and Network Administration teams.
- Support hardware lifecycle management and assist in SaaS asset management tasks like auditing and access retrieval.
- Create and maintain knowledge base content and recommend improvements for productivity and service quality.
- Support operations during Indian holidays while aligning with UK business hours.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or System Administration with proven customer service excellence.
- Strong experience configuring & troubleshooting Mac OS.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows 10 or higher is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with IT tools & SaaS applications: Google Suite, JAMF, Zoom, ServiceNow, Antivirus Tools, Microsoft Office, Slack, Okta, etc.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interest in learning and exploring new technologies.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience with intermediate system/network troubleshooting, macOS administration, Workspace One, ITSM tools like ServiceNow, and SSO technologies.
- Ability to train non-technical users effectively.
- Certifications preferred: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+.
