NIQ’s DevOps team plays a key role in supporting their Research division in deploying AI/ML models, Generative AI solutions, and cloud-native systems into production. To accelerate this, NIQ uses CIS — an internal cloud-native self-service platform designed to help MLOps, Data Science, and AI teams manage end-to-end workflows, experiment faster, and use shared Generative AI capabilities.

In this role, you will contribute to core DevOps activities that strengthen and scale the CIS platform.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement analysis and prepare detailed solution proposals.
• Perform feasibility studies with a critical and analytical approach.
• Support maintenance activities by troubleshooting software and application issues.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and reference manuals.
• Execute DevOps tasks aligned with platform needs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and global end users to ensure system compatibility.
• Promote teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the group.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
• Strong experience with public cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure:
•   Cloud Connectivity, Cloud Compute, Containers, Serverless, Distributed Storage, High-Scale Data Systems.
• Azure services expertise: Resource Manager, Key Vault, VM, VNET, Storage (Files/Blobs), APIs, Active Directory, Load Balancer, APIM, Azure CLI.
• Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD & automation tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions (kustomize, helm charts), Jenkins.
• Programming: Python.
• REST API development & integration.
• Shell scripting: Bash, PowerShell.
• Version control: GitHub.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Certifications preferred: AWS/Azure DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator.
• Database technologies: PostgreSQL, Presto/Trino.
• Message brokers: Azure Service Bus, Redis.
• Databricks & Azure Machine Learning experience.
• Exposure to OpenAI & AI Foundry services.
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code deployments in Azure.
