Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage fast, scalable, and highly available game services from concept to live operations.
• Collaborate with game designers, client engineering, and production teams to meet gameplay goals.
• Implement best practices for data security, performance optimization, and user protection.
• Create automated testing, deployment, and monitoring systems for continuous delivery.
• Optimize server infrastructure to improve speed, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Design and implement data transformation layers using Java, Spring, AWS, and Protobuf.
• Collaborate with server and frontend teams to define and manage API contracts.
• Manage release operations (Release Ops / Live Ops) for deployed web services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• 1+ years of experience developing scalable backend systems.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Couchbase).
• Proficiency in defining and implementing API architecture and data systems.

Bonus Skills

• Experience developing games or real-time systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Protobuf, cloud orchestration, and data streaming.
