About the
Role
The
Analyst – Third Party Risk will support the Global Procurement &
Third-Party Risk team, reporting directly to the AVP. The role involves
evaluating, identifying, and managing supplier risk, and collaborating with
stakeholders across first and second lines of defense. This position is
critical for maintaining strong vendor risk management practices and ensuring effective governance
frameworks.
Roles and
Responsibilities
- Collaborate
with the AVP and other stakeholders on initiatives related to Third-Party Risk
Management, including
data capture, supplier risk assessments, and due diligence processes.
- Work with Contract Owners to analyze identified risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Support due diligence reviews, including analysis of SOC 1 / SOC 2 reports and related documentation.
- Partner with Senior Analysts to assess, monitor, and report third-party risks across business units.
- Assist in supplier incident reporting and risk mitigation tracking.
- Provide guidance and training on effective third-party risk oversight for Canadian and global business units.
- Contribute
to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance risk identification,
monitoring, and control frameworks.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
- 1–3 years of experience in risk assessment, supplier risk, or compliance domains.
- Strong understanding of Risk Identification and Measurement principles.
- Experience
with Supplier Due Diligence, RCA, KRIs, and Scenario Analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proven ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, and global environments.
- Self-motivated and proactive with strong analytical and collaboration skills.
- Ability to design or enhance tools for risk monitoring and control process optimization.
