Job Description

The Wealth Management (WM) Platforms division at Morgan Stanley manages top-tier digital systems that support financial advisors, institutional clients, and wealth management teams worldwide. This unit enhances operational efficiency, digital experience, and workflow automation.

The Business Analyst will work with the Chief Operating Office (COO) Business Management Team, supporting non-tech budgeting, financial tracking, vendor management, and compliance operations across multiple regions including North America, Canada, India, and Budapest.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert on Wealth Management expense policies across regions.
  • Manage Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expenses end-to-end, including policy counseling and approvals.
  • Review and approve expense submissions and guide employees on process gaps.
  • Coordinate with teams on Entertainment & Conference (EnC) request creation.
  • Maintain best-practice documentation for expense workflows and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with AMEX partners and internal teams to resolve reporting/payment issues.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and recommendations for annual T&E budgets.
  • Maintain risk and opportunity trackers for EnC requests.
  • Manage vendor invoicing workflows and follow up on approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 0–1 year of business analyst experience (finance domain preferred).
  • Understanding of basic accounting concepts (P&L, forecasting, margins).
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams; strong emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deliverables with minimal overlap with onshore teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
