Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality data extraction, collation, and analysis for diverse investment plans and profiles, including institutional investors and investment managers
• Investigate asset management firms not currently included in the buy-side database
• Communicate directly with investment professionals via calls and emails to gather details about their investment processes
• Identify data sources and establish processes for collecting and tracking relevant information
• Resolve internal and external client queries within defined timelines
• Ideate and propose innovative solutions for new collection methods and product/process enhancements
• Analyze regulatory filings, prospectuses, industry publications, and other investment-related sources
• Communicate with investment professionals to obtain detailed insights on their investment approach and methodologies
• Enter new and updated information into internal databases in the required format
• Collaborate with team leaders and members regarding project updates and workload

Required Skills & Qualifications

• MBA with specialization in Finance from a reputed institution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum 1 year of experience in data collection or research preferred; fresh graduates may also apply
• Strong listening, presentation, and multitasking abilities with efficient time management
• Willingness to work night shifts, rotational shifts, and flexible hours
• Strong numerical skills for analyzing and processing financial data
• High analytical aptitude with strong attention to detail to maintain data accuracy
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
• Understanding of capital markets, including equities and fixed income, is preferred
