Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financials and commentaries for internal management reporting purpose, including daily, weekly and monthly revenue and expense reports on rotation.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial reports that explain moves in the region’s revenues and expenses in the context of current market events.
• Analyse operating expenses and provide monthly and quarterly expense analysis.
• Responding to ad-hoc queries from the Executive Office and a wide array of internal departments.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of annual budgets and reforecasts.
• Close liaison with other areas of the firm, including Product Controllers, Legal Entity Controllers, Regulatory Reporting, Corporate Accounting, Technology and Revenue - Producing Divisions.
• Participation in global financial/regulatory projects (systems development, segment restructure, new dashboard/reporting products).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified chartered accountant/CPA with 0-1 years of experience. Basic industry knowledge and strong accounting knowledge.
• Effective, confident communication with all levels of staff within Controllers and other internal departments, both within and outside the region.
• Client-focused and business oriented, with a general interest in the financial markets.
• Multi-tasking/strong organizational skills needed to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player, analytical, exercises good judgment with an attention to detail and a strong control mindset.
• Advanced PC skills, particularly with Excel, Powerpoint and Automation tools.
