The Associate in Accounting Operations at Marsh will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of SLAs within the accounting operations team. This role requires a Commerce Graduate with at least 4 years of experience or a CA with 0-1 years of experience. Key responsibilities include managing month-end processes, identifying automation opportunities, and maintaining compliance with ISO standards. Strong knowledge of Oracle/ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential. The position offers opportunities for mentorship and collaboration within a dynamic finance team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure achievement of agreed SLAs for the accounting operations team.
• Identify automation opportunities proactively within the process.
• Maintain and update documentation to comply with ISO standards.
• Manage month-end / quarter-end R2R processes:
• Fixed Assets, Revenue Accruals, Prepayment, Payroll Activities, Intercompany
• Coordinating with controllers and other functional teams to clear open items
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Managing review for all balance sheets reconciliations and meeting the global deadlines.
• Managing audit requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Commerce Graduate with 4+ years of work experience / CA with 0-1 years of work experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Ability to deal with multiple formats of data & large volumes of data.
• Good communication skills.
• Must have worked on Oracle/ERP.
• Must be keen to learn.
