Roles and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer at IBM, you will:

• Work on frontend, full stack, and QA/test automation projects.
• Learn and apply IBM and open-source tools with a focus on automation and process mining technologies.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
• Manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to IBM’s automation-focused strategy by delivering innovative, reliable, and secure solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in React, Redux, Node.JS, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS.
• Backend development using Python / Java / GoLang.
• Experience with testing tools like Jest, Cypress, Codecept.
• Strong knowledge of API-driven development and API automation.
• Test automation experience with Ansible or Python.
• Familiarity with GitHub as source code management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Professional & Technical Expertise

• Knowledge of cloud services (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Skills with Kubernetes, Docker, Red Hat OpenShift.
• Linux system expertise.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, automation frameworks, and data engineering concepts.
