Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory reporting reviews by understanding relevant compliance instructions.
• Identify Business Data Elements (BDEs) and define test criteria to validate review outcomes.
• Analyze bank balance sheets and financial reports (FINREP, Liquidity, Own Funds, etc.).
• Document reviews in the required format to show data lineage and system traceability.
• Maintain detailed audit trails for each transaction under review.
• Update the central Book of Work with review status, commentary, and findings.
• Collaborate with Targeted Transaction Testing (TTT) teams to prioritize reviews within deadlines.
• Engage with business teams to gather documentation and evidence for testing.
• Communicate effectively with leads and stakeholders to report progress or issues.
• Prior experience in HSBC systems or IRR projects will be an added advantage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate / Engineering / Post Graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Finance.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting, financial data validation, and compliance testing.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and meet project timelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and auditability.
• Prior exposure to banking systems, data lineage documentation, or regulatory projects preferred.
