Roles and
Responsibilities
- Track and analyze corporate defaults, resolutions, and sector performance data.
- Collect, clean, and validate datasets for credit risk and ratings performance research.
- Use MATLAB, SQL, and Excel to handle large data sets for quantitative and statistical analysis.
- Support rating methodology reviews through data compilation and reporting.
- Prepare research reports, dashboards, and data-driven presentations.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to produce credit research publications and risk assessments.
- Participate in ad-hoc analytical projects and assist with internal or external data requests.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB, SQL, R, and/or Python.
- Attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and data integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Team player who can work independently and manage tight deadlines.
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Business preferred.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, or data analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is an added advantage.

- Understanding of credit risk modeling, financial statement analysis, and macroeconomic indicators.
- Interest in global markets, portfolio analytics, and quantitative finance.
- Exposure to risk management frameworks and structured financial data.
