Job Description – Infosys Assistant Accountant 2025

The Assistant Accountant role at Infosys involves managing and supporting various accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. The position requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to coordinate with internal finance teams and clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform journal entry processing and account reconciliation
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounting
• Handle GRIR (Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt) accounting and reconciliation
• Support payroll accounting and month-end financial reporting
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and inventory control
• Conduct limited standard costing and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with internal finance departments and ensure timely submissions
• Maintain accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• Experience: 1–2 Years (Freshers with accounting knowledge can apply)
• Technical Skills: Hands-on working knowledge of SAP and MS Excel
• Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, analytical mindset
• Preferred Domain: Finance & Accounts → R2R (Record to Report)
