Job Description – Associate (CORDS)

The Associate in Client Onboarding & Reference Data Services will manage regulatory client onboarding, refresh, and screening activities. This role is part of the Operations team, focusing on ensuring compliance with global standards and maintaining robust client data accuracy. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client engagement, risk assessment, and process efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement KYC (Know Your Customer) standards, policies, and guidelines effectively.
• Partner with internal teams and client coverage groups to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
• Deliver high-quality client service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Communicate proactively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide regulatory guidance.
• Identify risks, highlight potential issues, and escalate to management where necessary.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while ensuring quality outcomes.
• Evaluate data and documentation to identify gaps, risks, or process improvements.
• Participate in client outreach activities and support account updates or regulatory reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in client onboarding, AML, or reference data services.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards, regulatory frameworks, and KYC documentation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external clients.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
