Roles and
Responsibilities
As
an Associate Technical Support Engineer, you will:
- Provide customer-focused technical support with a problem-solving mindset.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network, hardware, and software issues.
- Review and understand technical documentation, site drawings, and specifications.
- Accurately communicate complex solutions in a clear, user-friendly way.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and field engineers for issue resolution.
- Create test cases, test plans, and technical documents.
- Manage customer accounts by tracking and resolving ongoing issues.
- Proactively identify opportunities for product improvements and quality enhancements.
- Use CRM tools (Salesforce) and bug tracking systems (Jira) to monitor support tickets.
- Adapt quickly to new processes, systems, and organizational changes.
- Promote inclusivity and work effectively with diverse teams.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, M2M communications, etc.).
- Experience with cloud-based management platforms and application support.
- Proficiency in documentation and knowledge article creation.
- Understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and software applications.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Experience in using Jira or similar bug management tools.
- Additional certifications in Microsoft, Linux, or networking are a plus.
- Fresher or 1+ year of experience in technical support engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (BCA / B.Sc / MCA / M.Sc) required.
- Excellent command of English communication.
